UNF Alumni Association Annual Wine Tasting

The UNF Alumni Association hosted their annual wine tasting event Friday, March 25 in the University Center Board of Trustees Room. Sommelier Ian McGee discussed six varieties of wine, each served with a course of appetizers prepared by In Any Event Catering to complement the wine's flavor.







First Course: 2007 Bottega Vinaia Pinot Grigio paired with ratatouille and pita points.







Second Course: 2009 Sterling Napa Savignon Blanc paired with shrimp pot stickers served with citrus Asian dipping sauce.







Third Course: 2008 A by Acacia Chardonnay paired with crab-stuffed mushroom caps.







Fourth Course: 2008 Sterling Vintner's Collection Pinot Noir paired with mojo pork skewers.








Fifth Course: 2008 Navarro Carreros Malbec paired with blackened tenderloin on toasted sourdough.






Sixth Course: XXXII Rosenblum Cuvee Zinfandel paired with chocolate covered strawberries with coconut icing.
