World Affairs Council October VIP Reception

The October World Affairs Council Distinguished Voices lecture was held last Tuesday with Fouad Ajami, an expert on Middle Eastern Issues, as the guest of honor. Prior to the lecture, VIP members of the World Affairs Council came together for a reception to mingle, eat and drink.

This month's action station featured Cajun-crusted turkey served with a choice of mini rolls and several condiments. Executive Chef Paul Rich created a cranberry, walnut and goat cheese spread from scratch to create a surprising complement to the spicy turkey.

On the hors d'oeuvres buffet were mini sweet potato souffles and a beautiful antipasto display that included pepperoni, salami, jalapenos and olives. We topped everything off with some cute centerpieces created with hurricane vases and mini pumpkins giving the reception and overall fall feeling.

We'll be back soon to tell you about our day spent catering for the MTV Campus Invasion Tour! Until then, check out the rest of the photos from this event in the album on Facebook.
